Frequently Asked Questions

Do you Bill Insurance?

Our session rates are comparable with other masters level specialists in Temecula and Southern CA. We do not offer a sliding scale due to the limited number of client hours available.

We are not in-network with any insurance companies but we do accept PPO insurance as out-of-network providers. What that means is you pay your therapist directly after each session and then we provide you with a receipt for services (called a superbill) for you to submit to your insurance at the end of every month.

If your claim is accepted, your insurance will mail you a check for the amount they agree to reimburse or they will apply that amount to your deductible depending on if you have hit your deductible for the year yet.

Most PPO plans will reimburse you for some portion of the session fee (20-60%) but every plan is different so call your insurance to ask about your coverage. If you have a high deductible, you most likely won’t reach it so everything they do reimburse will go towards your deductible and not be paid to you. Click here for more info

How often should I attend therapy?

Most clients schedule a standing weekly appointment for convenience and predictability. We can work together to see if weekly, bi-weekly, or bi-monthly appointments are more appropriate for your needs.

What if I need to cancel an appointment?

I have a 24-hour cancellation policy to ensure the highest quality of care and fairness to all clients. By notifying me of any cancellations or schedule changes at least 24 hours in advance, I can offer the available time slot to other clients who may need it.

I understand that unexpected situations can arise, making it necessary to cancel or reschedule appointments. However, consistent last-minute cancellations and no-shows can disrupt the therapy process for you and other clients who may need support.

A credit card must be kept on file, and you will be charged the full fee for late cancelations and no-show appointments.

What are your rates?

55-minute session - $180

Longer sessions are available upon request and are pro-rated.

Do you offer video or phone sessions?

Yes! This is a convenient and secure option for therapy that is gaining popularity. Click here for more information.
